Cookie settings

Last updated: July 10, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Mivoza uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It applies to all our markets: Germany, Austria, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They help us operate the website securely, save your preferences, analyze usage, and show you relevant advertising.

Consent and Google Consent Mode v2

We use a consent management platform (Pandectes GDPR Compliance) in conjunction with Google Consent Mode v2. This means:

  • On your first visit, all non-essential cookies are blocked by default (“denied”) until you give your consent.
  • Your choices are transmitted to Google through the four Consent Mode signals: ad_storage (storage of advertising cookies), ad_user_data (transmission of user data to Google for advertising purposes), ad_personalization (personalized advertising/remarketing), and analytics_storage (analytics cookies).
  • Without your consent, Google sends only cookieless, aggregated signals (pings) without personal identifiers.
  • You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

What categories of cookies do we use?

  • Strictly necessary cookies - necessary for basic functions such as the shopping cart, checkout, security, and fraud prevention (e.g., Shopify cookies such as “cart”, “secure_customer_sig”, “keep_alive”). These cannot be disabled.
  • Functional cookies - store your preferences, such as language, country, and currency.
  • Analytics cookies - help us understand how visitors use our website (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics). They are set only with your consent (analytics_storage).
  • Marketing cookies - are used to show you relevant advertising and measure campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Pixel). They are set only with your consent (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization).

You can find a complete, continuously updated list of all cookies, including the provider, purpose, and storage duration, in our cookie banner under “Manage preferences”.

Your rights by region

  • EU/EEA (Germany, Austria, Ireland): GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive (in Germany: TDDDG). Non-essential cookies are set only with your prior consent. You have, among others, the right to access, rectification, erasure, and withdrawal of consent.
  • United Kingdom: UK GDPR and PECR - equivalent consent and data subject rights.
  • Switzerland: revised Data Protection Act (revDSG) - rights to transparency and access.
  • USA: State privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA in California). You can opt out of the “sale/sharing” of your data (“Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”) by rejecting marketing cookies in the banner.
  • Canada: PIPEDA and Québec Law 25 - the right to access and withdraw consent.
  • Australia: Privacy Act 1988 (Australian Privacy Principles).
  • New Zealand: Privacy Act 2020 - rights to access and correct your personal data.

Changing cookie settings

You can adjust or withdraw your consent at any time: via the privacy link in the footer, via the cookie icon on our website, or through your browser settings (deleting/blocking cookies). Please note that blocking necessary cookies may impair the functionality of the website.
